ADHD ASSESSMENTS
The college does not offer ADHD assessments.
If you would like to have an assessment for ADHD you will need to make an appointment with your GP to discuss this further. You can take one of the on- line screeners such as this one: https://adhduk.co.uk/adult-adhd-screening-survey/ This will give you an indication of whether it is worth investigating further.
Before you go to your GP it is a good idea to prepare a list of the issues that you have been having and ask your friends and family to help with his too. Also detail the issues that you are having with your studies. When you go to your GP take all of this information with you and emphasise that these issues are causing problems because you are a student. If possible, take a friend for moral support.
